I bought a new MB and processor. The MB is an offbrand "Syntax". Okay here
is the problem, if I run a CPU clock speed of 100 it runs fine and reports a
cpu speed of 1350 mhz. If I kick it up to 133, it reports a processor speed
of 2200. (It was sold as a 2200 (AMD) processor.) The problem is that
windows will crash every time at every speed except 1350. I have the
ability to set the "CPU clock" anywhere from 100 to 133 If I set it to 101
or above, it will crash windows. Dos will run all day long.

Any suggestions are appreciated. If additional info is needed, please ask.

    Thank you,

    Dave H.

Make sure you have the latest updated bios on the board.
