New FF3 User/Address Box Dropdown list issues

Before, and with every browser I've ever used, the only way items
ended up on my address box dropdown list was if I typed them in
directly. Now, if I access a site from my Bookmarks, even subsites
from a bookmarked page, they all end up on the dropdown list,
cluttering it up. How do I keep this from happening?

I did go to Tools, and cleared Browsing History, Cache, and
Authenticated Sessions. Now, the items I had accessed directly by
typing them in are gone, and instead, several Bookmarked items now
display on the dropdown list. I would prefer to have it emply.

    Any suggestions?
