    To my knowledge, Express only has this feature for sound.
    If you install Windows Messenger and have it enabled, it will work with
    you Express and visually let you know. To get Windows Messenger go to

    http://messenger.msn.com/download/Default.aspx?client=0

    By the way, to enable the sound notification in Express...
    To receive audio notification of new messages
    On the Tools menu, click Options.
    On the General tab, select the Play sound when new messages arrive check box

    You can use sound (OE Tools / Options), or you can
    use a third party mail checker, like Magic Mail Monitor.

    I like using Magic Mail Monitor:
    <http://mmm3.sourceforge.net/>

    A small, free utility that sits in the systray. Set to check at
    varying intervals, whether OE is open or not; pop-up and/or sound
    notification; lets you preview (and handle) mail at the server.
