Networking problem

Discussion in 'Wireless Networking' started by =?Utf-8?B?SmFtZXM=?=, Apr 3, 2006.

  1. I have been trying to set up a wireless network here for file and printer
    sharing.
I have been successful on all computers except one laptop.

the laptop is a Dell lattitude 810when I run the set up wizard everything
seems to be ok until I try to view workgroup computers. I can not see anyone
on the network and noone can see this laptop..

Any suggestions? I have tried to disable the norton firewall and the windows
    firewall with no success.

    Thanks

  4. Hi
Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings,
    http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html
As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what is allowed
    to be shared.
