    Hey,

Here's my problem. I have a network with 5 computers all running win2k.
Now when I go to network places, if a computer was on and then I shut it off
it still appears as an option ( i can't connect to it obviously since its
turned off but its still there). Likewise, if computer 1 was turned on
before computer 2 was turned on, computer 1 will not find computer 2 on the
list. I can still connect to it by typing the exact path name, but I can't
browse for it. Does anyone know why?

    Sincerely,
    Greg R.

It may be at #7 where you have an issue. I could be wrong.

The browse master only updates its list every 15 minutes.
