Netbook + Smartphone = ?

Discussion in 'NZ Computing' started by Lawrence D'Oliveiro, May 21, 2009.

  1. Interesting to think about products straddling the line between PC and
smartphone. Not so appealing to consider that everything mobile with "phone"
in it seems to be an excuse for the network operators to exert even more
revenue-extraction control over their customers. Will Linux-based OSes like
Android offer a way out of this? I'll believe it when I see it.
