    Dave Watson Guest

    Hi,

First time I ever received a failure to copy and burn a disc with Nero
today. "Buffer underrun" error message and then spat out the cd after 3
    minutes of writing to disc.

Does anyone know how I can fix this or what causes this in the first place.

    TIA,

    Dave

    The error log is below:

This link might help. Try killing any unwanted processes in Task Manager
    and drop the burn speed.

He meant "Nero" the company. He left a link to their website help tool.

I have problems occasionally with Nero. A reboot of my system and then
directly to the burn process as always cured the problem.

    Gents,

Thanks for your help and assistance, by reducing the write speed to 4x
instead of 8x has fixed the problem.

It was probably a power related issue with my PC.

BTW, I'm using Nero 6.0 Ultra Edition.

Yes, I read the post. Did you read mine?

I was referring to Nero, the company, not Nero, the product, which is why I
gave a link to the Nero, the company, help page for buffer underruns.

Huh? What good would Nero, the company, do for help with software
    written by Ahead DE?

Funny - my copies of "Nero Burning ROM" and "Nero Express" were done
by a company named "Ahead Software AG" in Germany.

The "Nero" web site went up about a year and a half ago for people
too stupid to read the "About" screen ...
