Nero Burning CD 6.0 Problem

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Gerard de Gooier, Sep 7, 2003.

  1. I work with Windows XP pro NL and since I installed yesterday NERO 6.0 I got
    this problem.

Everything works fine till it has to actually burn the CD then I get (after
a while) the message that my "Burner is in use by another application"
Which is absolutely not true, but further I can do everything with the
    program but just NOT burn.

Who can and will help me out of this problem please.

How do you know? What else are you running that may be using the cd?

Turn off the native XP burning. Right click the drive in Explorer or My
    Computer then Properties then Recording.

    Hi Kenny,
your suggestion sounded very good but..........
I tried everywhere to to do what you said but...........
I don't really know where I can put out the internal Burner from XP.
The only possibillity I found was to put the Burner complete out of the
system, but that's not wanted ofcourse.
I only want to burn with my AOpen burner under Windows XP with NERO 6.0 and
    that doesn't work.
I hope you will tell me how i can put it out Kenny cause I don't know where.
