The "My Documents" folder appeared corrupted. I found out later there were
some hidden files. Spyware?? Anyway I made a big mistake and deleted the
folder thinking I could create a new one. It will not create a new folder
message reads there is already a folder with that name. I can't retrieve it
from any of the utilities with windows or Norton System Works.

Any ideas? Thank you in advance.....I am running windows 98 version 4.10

My Documents folder will often have hidden files in it. As soon as you open
a word document a shadow file that is hidden opens with a file name that
starts with ~ this part of the auto save I believe and some times they are
not cleaned up when you close the file.
