    i use windows 98.
every time i start up my computer and the desktop loads, an error message
from "microsoft connecton manager" pops up that reads "the service profile
is damaged. reinstall the service profile."
in an attempt to fix the profile i ran a file search for the connection
manager, but nothing comes up. does it even exist? what do i do? it's
    driving me insane...
