Need help finding which RAM i need for my notebook

    I just was given a brand new notebook, its a dell inspiron 1200,it was
    bought new but hasnt been used til it was given to me.I was looking on
    Newegg and i dont really know what i need to get.I think what i need is DDR
    correct? Currently i have 256 ram and i would like 512.I dont know which
    brands are good and which arent.I also would like to get a new hard drive
    eventually.

    Go to www.crucial.com
    Type in the details of your machine, and it will tell you
    what you need.

    For memory, look for KING STONE.
    and for HDD, you can use Toshiba.
