I see a lot of CRC errors on a switchport where a PC is connected. I think the cabling between the PC and the switchport has problems.

However the cabling actually went through 3 patch panels and 4 network cables. I want to connect two laptops at any 2 points and test the link in between and locate where the problem is. Could anybody please suggest a software which can load stress the link and can also record errors? Thanks!
