Need a nice quiet PSU

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Phil-on-a-hill, Aug 9, 2003.

  1. Hey all.

I'm running an AMD XP2600 that has a Radeon 9700 Pro within it. Can anyone
point me towards a nice *quiet* PSU? My current one is just awful.

    I'm using Thermaltake ATX420W (active PFC, dual fans - ball-bearing )
W0008 powersupply. Has two 8 cm fans which run at a near inaudible
1600 rpm. Also has 9x12 V plugs plus a few of the smaller ones.

Very happy with it as I hate noise in a PC.
