blah blah... nah i am going to speak english :p get ready modfather, strap yourself in!

Mycoplasma Pneumonia, well its a virual Pneumonia and a pain in the ass to spell!

    heres some info: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000082.htm

Now heres why i bought up the topic :p. Friday of 14th of april. i was sick (well i was for the whole week before but thats not the point) i was so sick i had a swelled up mouth, sore eyes and i could eat a dam thing :( not even easter eggs i got on sunday :(. i went to the public hospital the sunday after the friday, and they told me it was blah blah they ended up giving me antibotics i am allergic too (luckily i only had 1 of the stupid disgusihing tasting tablets) and they gave me 2 bags of juice(just salene water :p) (through the drip, or what ever u call the injection of fluids). Ending up going back to the public hospital on the Monday and had an xray (and a new doctor) they gave me another set of antibiotics and told me to have both and i was like wtf , sif have 2 noob thats not smart (ur not supposed to have 2 different antibiotics at the same time).

so the tuesday which wasn't a public holiday, i ended up getting the new Nautilus Water cooling kit from Corsair, it arrived from UPS, signed for it, opened it up, took a few snapshots of the stuff and now it sitting at my test bed waiting to be set up :p. then my mums like ok we going to the doctors (GP, which is like ur prefered doctor or what ever u wanna call em), she was like OMG OMG OMG, dont u dare take that antibiotic that is of the same family to the allergy u have (i am allergic to penicillin), and she was like, *toss out the ones i got from the public hospital* then she was like ur going to hospital, admited me to a bed in the private hospital (note, PRIVATE HOSPITAL), and she got a specialist doctor to look after me from then (tursday), to today which i got outa hospital! now, take it from someone who has been in hospital ITS BORING AS, even though u might have a bed that goes up and down, up and down, up and down... u still wanna steal yourself a laptop or something before u go in, cause the most entertaining thing in there is a 30cm screen with AirTv :|, oh and that tv's sound comes through this little speaker :|

anyways, so i get home and i am like omg omg 50 emails :| 50 non junk emails :| i will be awhile... its been almost 3 hours now :| and i have only just finished on these forums :|

You KNOW I had to pick #3.

I've been sick too the past few weeks but nothing that serious, just a nasty cold. My dad wound up in the hospital though with other problems. Sounds like you had a marvelous time. :) Oh and it's called an IV Drip, (IntraVenious), which basically means "it's in your vein and it drips". :)

Which antibiotic is it you're allergic to? What did the wind up giving you instead?

When I get bad infections, short of a stay in the hospital with an IV antibiotic they usually give me high doses of Keflex. Sometimes Cipro if it's not as bad.

You know the poll was random :p

i cant remember the name of the antibiotic they gave me, if i remember something i know it's called something like Keflex... not sure to be honest. all i know is penicillin is evil and dangerous (to me)

Yer well IVDrips are useful and annoying, but overall they are more useful, but having one in for 4 days or so makes you think your arm has more weight. now i for some reason have quicker mouse movements, which makes CS Source easier :).

well i missed out on 1 week of holidays :(, and now 2 weeks of school so i aint complaining that much, after all thats 2 less weeks for this term! :| but i think i am fukt for the work i have to do :|.

You mean you didn't have Hermioney bring your work to the hospital for you? For shame Mr. Weasley! No wonder your wand sags. :)

Keflex is good stuff, one of the better oral antibiotics I think. My biggest complaint about IV drips is that it's hard to sleep with that in your arm. You can't roll over like you'd want to and 900 times during the night it'll kink and the thing will start beeping! I had the nurse show me how to reset the IV drip so I didn't have to deal with that nonsense. :)

Oh, one more thing. I finished my mouse pad review over at FastLaneHW; here's the link if you want to see it: http://www.fastlanehw.com/reviews.php?i=159

Al, that link leads to a blank page on the site (not like 404 blank, but the site's there but there's nothing in it, just the menus and header).

It works fine for everyone but you. I can't imagine what it is. If you can try from another computer sometime, let me know if that works.

Turn off your firewall for a minute and try it again.

I doubt it'd be my version of Firefox, but I'll try lowering my defenses, still I can't imagine what would be on the site that needs to get around my firewalls, that doesn't really make much sense.

Could you ask the owner of the site what he thinks?

Edit: Yes, it's Norton Firewall that's blocking the site. <Shrug> Weird.

Yeah it does, I had to remove it from my dad's rig because it blocked so much important traffic it wasn't funny. At least with Norton it's easy enough to just switch it on and off when I need to.
