Do Cisco have any newfangled technologies that would allow selective
multicast? I have a need to actually lock switchports from accepting or
forwarding multicast frames based on the username of the person connected to
    that port.

User signs on their application, and somehow we than apply an ACL or policy
to the switch port to allow multicast on a particular IP range..

    thanks
