MSFC2 boot process

    I have a couple of questions concerning the MSFC2 boot process.

    1)Is it necessary to have a "bootldr" image or is this used if the IOS
    becomes corrupted and will give you a subset of the IOS for recovery
    purposes.

    2)If the boot variables are incorrect will the microcode search all
    flash devices for a valid image, including slot0: and then boot this
    image.
