MS Press MCAD/MCSD Self-Paced Training Kit

Discussion in 'MCSD' started by Steve Carmeli, Aug 30, 2004.

  1. I've got 5 years of DOS/Win 3.1 database experience over
20 years of computing experience, and mainframe
programming training. I'm better than that would lead one
to expect. I've developed systems that people use. I've
gone through the VB.Net Step by Step kit. I recently
purchased the AE version of Visual Studio .Net 2003. Is
the MCAD/MCSD Self-Paced Training Kit right for me to
learn VB.Net or should I pick up something easier prior
getting it? What would be the right learning path as far
as: databases in VB.Net, Win Forms, ASP.NET, ADO.NET,
    OOP, Web services, XML, etc.

    Thanks,
    Steve
