mpegs joining program needed

  1. can anyone recomend a prog that joins together mpegs together to watch as
    one film as opposed to several little ones in Windows XP. Movie maker does
    a good job but will only save in windows format wmv which wont play on a
    dvd player.

    They can be joined together with plain DOS COPY, using the binary switch:

    COPY /b mpeg1+mpeg2+mpeg3 bigmpeg

    Or search Google: "mpeg joiners".

    Hi,

    You can add the .mpg files together in the command prompt.
    Go to Start > Run > type cmd.
    Use copy *.mpg output.mpg to paste them together as output.mpg
    Or you can can queue them up in the Windows Media Player.
