Mozilla -id and -remote

Discussion in 'Firefox' started by William Estrada, Oct 9, 2003.

  1. I have written a script that gets an HTML Web page and then calls
    mozilla with this:

    /usr/bin/mozilla -remote
    'openFile(file:///home/wre00/Lossy_HTML/www.cnn.com.off)' -id 0x2c01b10

The problem is that mozilla is ignoring the -id option and opens the
    last used mozilla window.

I get the Window ID from xwininfo.

    Any ideas?

ps. I am using mozilla .0.9.9. I have also tried it on mozilla 1.5
which gets 'fail to send command'.
