Mozilla 1.7 and Slack 10

Discussion in 'Firefox' started by Bruno Barberi Gnecco, Jul 1, 2004.

  1. Just upgraded to Slack 10.0, and mozilla 1.7 doesn't work. It just dies with
exitcode=1 after it is called, no messages. I was using 1.4 before, which was working
fine. Does anybody have any idea why this may be happening? Is there anyway to get a
verbose logging to find out why it is dying?
    Thanks a lot,

    The superfluous is very necessary.

Friend of mine had something similar. Turned out to be a lock file was
still present which prevented Mozilla from starting.

Try running mozilla from a terminal. It might give you some message. You can
find the lockfile by using: "find .mozilla -name lock"
