Friend has a problem with his pc running Windows XP Home. He is getting the
    following error on startup:
'Windows cannot find monitor.exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly,
and then try again. To search for a file click the start button, and then
    click search'
I did a google on this and went to Symantic site for causes & removal. I
checked the registry as described on Symantic website but no registry
entries could be found relating to what was on the website.
I have run a number of spyware programs, antivirus, trojan remover, etc.
Still I cant get rid of this error.
    Anyone got any ideas?
    TIA
