Missing Data Source Drivers

Discussion in 'Windows 64bit' started by =?Utf-8?B?c2FsdHk=?=, Sep 8, 2005.

  1. We've just installed a new server with Windows 2003 Server x64. I loaded SQL
Server 2K, MDAC 2.8, and IBM iSeries Client Access, which installs ODBC
drivers to get to our AS/400.

However, when I try to create a new system DSN, the only driver in the list
is the SQL Server 2K driver. Where are the others? I've never had a problem
with these showing up on other Windows servers, including our Windows Server
    2003 32-bit machine.

  2. Thats because the ODBC Cleint is not compatible with Windows Server 2003
x64, post a question to the microsoft.public.access.odbcclientsvr newsgroup
to find out whats going with its development and support for x64.
