    Hello all:

I have been reading and practicing for the MCDST 70-271 test. I read the
comments from this post all the time. What I don't understand is this: I
have been getting 80s and 90s on my practice tests via MeasureUp, but when I
went to Microsoft's Assessment test, I GOT A 40%. Is the certification test
as difficult as the Assessment test? Or am I suppose to think that the test
is as easy as the practice tests? I'm a bit put out right now.

Jo if you are getting 90% on the Measure Up practice tests just go and take
the real thing. One of two things will happen:

    1. You will pass; or
    2. You will not pass but you will learn what the real exam is like, and you
will know what you are weak in, and you will pass the next time.

Remember... Exam Insurance is your friend!

Please let me know (off-line at mct at mitchgarvis dot com) if you want a
    15% discount code.

Jo addressing your original post - test scores with the Microsoft training
Kits do not correspond with each other - one gives "high" scores the other
    "low".
Do not rate your capability based on the text questions. They are not
representative of the actual test (Others may disagree).

Regarding the fifteen (15) percent discount, redeeming this "coupon" has
been problematic. Also suggest you visit your local Barnes and Noble book
store, and with a cup of coffee (tea if you prefer), "review" other study
    guides.
