A little story of total incopetance and stupidity, and hopefully
someone can offer assistance to make things right again

I was upgrading my sisters computor to windows XP, the first thin I did
was copy all her documents etc onto a 128meg Lexar Jumdrive memory
stick, then shoved in the XP disk and rebooted, it all went well until
the bit where it asks where you want to put XP, first I deleted all the
existing partions then told it to create a single partition with XP on
    it.

What I did not notice was one of the "Disks" was the USB Stick, this
now apears totally blank. what has windows done to it and can it be
    recovered

    Cheers
