MCSE Test taking order

Discussion in 'MCSE' started by Blair Piercey, May 28, 2007.

  1. Hey,
Can someone answer this for me?
I was wondering if there is a particular order in which one should
follow when taking all the MCSE exams?? Or can we follow the order in
which they appear on the Microsoft website?

It does not matter. You can take them in any order you please. Most people
would do all of the requirements for MCSA first, and then follow up with
MCSE since all of the MCSA tests can apply to MCSE if you do it right, plus
it gets you a nice cert a little quicker.

But to answer your original question, have at it in any order you like.

FYI, if you plan on using any of the 2000 tests along the way, they will
retire in March 2008 so make sure you get them out of the way before then.
They will still apply after that, it's just that you'll need to take them
    before they retire.

I think that would be the best choice. If you the server core exam
in that order, every exam will give you the base for the next

If you get an order # does it mean the order is accepted?
