I am just writing to check if anyone has any advice on
MCSA short course offered by Microsoft approved schools.

Some of the schools advertise they will train you in 3
sessions of 7 hours for each topic.

I'm not sure what these courses offer and if they are
    worth participating in.

The organisation themselves don't offer to much
    information.

If anyone could offer any advice it would be much
    appreciated.

I would also like to know if anyone can recommend a
    school or organisation in Australia.

dont go to these schools. you wont retain a single shred of information.
but if your company is paying for it, go nuts!

i'm with Mike, theres alot of info to remember in only 21 hours. after 21
hours, $20 says you wouldn't remember what was taught in the first 5 hours.
