What is the path to upgrade from MCSA2000 to MCSE2003? Will taking papers
70-292, 70-296 and 20-298 be sufficient for this? Or do I need to retake the
entire 7 papers again. I've checked the certification planner in the MCP
site but really got confused on how to read it. Could someone please advice.

    Thanks much.

    Hi Monkey,

Since you are not an MCSE on Windows 2000 you will not be able to take the
70-296 upgrade exam. As for the correct path, it would depend on which
exams you have already passed, but know that you are at least four exams
away. 70-292 will make you an MCSA on Windows Server 2003. From there I
believe you can take 70-293, 70-294, and a design exam to get your MCSE.

Alternately you could take the remaining exams on Windows 2000 (if you have
taken the bare minimum then you have passed four, and need three more exams)
and then pass 70-292 and 70-296.

    Good luck!
