MCDST Exams

Discussion in 'MCDST' started by Alexey Nechaev, Feb 17, 2005.

  1. Hi,
I am looking to take the MCDST exam this summer. I have 2
years of practice in using Win XP Pro, and have been
managing a network for the past year (simply due to the lack
of other specialists) with Win XP workstations, though I am
a developer myself. Do you think that I have enough
experiance to take the exam? If I were to take the courses
or read the books, do you think that they will prepare me for
the exams? Is there anything else that I could do to prepare?

    Please reply to my e-mail,
    Thank you,
    Alexey Nechaev ()

I had similar experience in the It industry, I used the mspress books for
about 4 weeks then went for the 70-271 test, passed ok with an 850. I dont
think I would have passed without the book and the sample questions that come
with it. Whatever method you choose to prepare, one thing to bear in mind
when you take the test, is to think what the Microsoft answer would be, and
not neccessarily the real world answer.

    Good luck
