    Hi everyone,

I have two questions I am looking answers for and hoping someone can't paint a clear picture!

    1) How does one get mDNS or Apple's Bonjour to work over VLANs? Things work fine within the VLAN, but not across them.

    2) Trying to get Multicast to go across VLANs as well. This maybe the same fix somewhat as question 1. OS X's built in imaging ASR now can do multicast but I can't get it to work across VLANs. We have a helper address pointing to the server but I am guessing something needs done with a muliticast address or something to point to the server.

Can someone paint a clear picture for me?

    Thanks,

    Dan
