When downloading something from the internet or an email my browser is
crashing. Is there a setting I can change to fix this? I am using a Mac
    with OS X.

    Thanks

Does the problem occur with earlier versions or just the 1.5rc2?
Can you perhaps give us a site or file you tried to download that caused
    the problem?

Additionally, did you get the first release of 10.2.8 or the second
(fixed) release? The first release had problems and should be updated
by going to the Apple site.

this is the first version of Mozilla I've had. I've never had Netscape
either. thanks by the way for your helping out here.

Um what part of first release of 10.2.8 did you not understand?
The first release of 10.2.8 was flawed and had major bugs! It has
nothing to do with Mozilla or Netscape, its your system.

Again, go to the apple site and get the second release of 10.2.8
or the apple 'fix' for the first release
