i'm tryng to rip a music dvd which has lpcm track
    when I use dvd2avi to create a wave file, I get a 44khz 16bit file which
    has DOUBLE SPEED (i.e , 2:30 instead of 5).
I know I could solve the problem by setting the sample rate to an half
of the original value, but this way I would loose a lot of high end
    freqs ...
is there any other way to extract the audio?

    help me please ...

here is the smartripper log for a video:

The only way, I repeat the ONLY way to successfully get Mono LPCM
sound from a DVD, and I've had this experience with the Marx Brothers
discs, is to use Graphedit, with the MS Mpeg splitter and Main Concept
decoder. I have the details somewhere so if you Email me
    (jazzhunter-at-collector-dot-org) I'll send the directions and a
couple of Jpegs of the Graphedit layout. I'll try to find it tomorrow.
But I mean it, no ready-made ripping solution will do the few DVD's
    using Mono LPCM.

And it will be way off sync and have broken spots. I've tried this
    also.

Ok I found the Jpegs. I note from the SmartRipper info that this is
indeed a mono PCM track, so Graphedit is the only solution. Email me
or let me know in which Binaries gorup to post the instructions.

    . Thanks ..
