    Hi guys all.
Sorry before if my English isn't so good.

I want to make a table look up for keyboard which is stored to ROM or RAM.
Is it must use a case statement? If must how to do that?

I simulate it by make a program which is a switch (8 bit) act as input and led (8 bit) as output. I planned if i push a switch to "00000001" then it will go to address "000000000000000000" (18 bit because I use 256K SRAM) and take the data that inside that address and display the result at the led.

How to do the coding in VHDL? I use a software altium summer'08 which is the SRAM has a pin data(16 bit act as bidirectional), E, address (18bit), W, OE, UB & LB (I don't know how to use the pin UB & LB, anybody can give an explanation an coding how to use it?).

Thx for the attention and wish for the help
