logon screen how to stop it!

    win98se get logon box up at start up, how do i stop this happening, I want
    pc to start without the prompt, I have cancelled it when it comes up and it
    says you wont get this screen again but it does, any Ideas appreciated

    Search for and delete files with the extension .pwl.
    Reboot and enter a user name , but leave the password blank.

    tried that no pwl files found, still get prompt box up every start up
