Local port 3297 (CYTEL-LM - Cytel License Manager)

Discussion in 'Computer Security' started by Orak Listalavostok, Jan 9, 2005.

  1. Microsoft AntiSpyware Updater (GIANTAntiSpywareUpdater.exe)
is being contacted from a remote machine [206.13.28.12]
using local port 3297 (CYTEL-LM - Cytel License Manager)
Do you want to allow this program to access the network?
    What is this port?

    We don't know.
Most likely it's a virus or trojan attack.
Disable services with CYTEL or GIANTAntiSpyware in the name.
Do a search on your system to delete the dll files too.
Run hijackthis to post results so experts can farther advise.
