Hi in the summer of 2006 I passed the 70-272, this time last year I failed
the 70-271 and decided I wont be able to pass it until now. So I dusted my
books out (brougth two) but I don't think there enough. I am thinking of
paying for one of them mock exam companys. But is there any other free or
cheap resources, yes I can look on the internet but is there anything
    regarding the exam itself?

Yes. Experience. Obtaining any I.T. certification means that you KNOW
the technology, not just read a book, took some practice exams and
passed an exam. What do you think becomes of a certification when you
are an inexperienced certified professional, specialist or engineer? The
worth decreases tremendously for us all.

Research the technology. Use the technology. Install it, break it and
fix it. If you need a free resource, visit
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/. The objectives for every Microsoft
exam can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/learning. Evaluation
copies of Windows XP are in the back of most study guides. If you only
have one PC to use, install Virtual PC. It's free. Then use the
evaluation copy of Windows XP to install, diagnosis and troubleshoot.

  3. Hi Everyone

I am a MCDST trainee in Jersey, Channel Islands just off of France.

Just passed my 70-271 on friday last week so a brand new fresh MCP and have
now stumbled across this site and have found it extremley helpful so far.

I am working at RBSI in Jersey Channel Islands as a Helpdesk Analyst.

Trying to find the best ways to study and learn and I just wanted to thank
Michael for the virtual PC comment. Thats great. That will help me immensely.

Hope to speak to you all again

    Hey Chris...

Unless you want to risk losing any chance at ever having a Microsoft
Certification, I'd stay away from this braindump site if I were you.
