    Howdy,

    I'm running XP SP3...

I copied an entire DVD to my hard drive, but don't know how
    to launch it.

It plays fine from the original DVD, but whatever I attempt
to open from the copied files gives me the error that I
    don't have the appropriate decoder.

Is there a way I can play this thing from my drive?

    Many thanks,

Ah yes... I have to rip it rather than copy it...

In any case, it is now working well.

    All the best,
