Latest Nvidia drivers + Crysis = good

  1. Hi there,

For those with nvidia hardware trying to get playable performance out
of Crysis I can recommend trying the 169.xx beta driver. My 7900GS
based desktop now runs 1280x1024 with some settings on high, instead
of 1024x768 with a mix of medium and low settings. My 8600M GT based
laptop has done even better, running 1280x800 dx10 instead of 800x600
dx9, with most settings on medium, and frame rates playable enough to
    keep me (almost) happy.

For those whose finance controller/strife will not allow the budget to
include a dual 8800 Ultra SLI quad core system, a driver download that
works as well as this has for me is a not bad compromise... :)
