I'm looking for some info / direction to take with this problem. I
have a Tosiba Satellite Pro 4600 laptop. Recently it began acting
kind of weird. I'd try to turn it on and all I'd get was the power on
light but the machine would not start up. I tried removing the
battery and unplugging the power supply and no joy. Then all of a
sudden I'd turn it on again and it would fire up no problem. It might
act normal for a few days then all of a sudden it'll take a half hour
of trying...off then on...and finally it starts up. I considered
taking the cover off to have a look around the power supply but you
know how tightly packed lap tops are these days so I really doubt if
there is anything that I could see.
