Landscape vs. Foliage

  1. What is the difference between "Foliage" in the SCN mode, and the "Landscape"
icon on the dial of my Canon A75 Powershot?

    In a nutshell:

The scene mode adjusts the colour balance for taking photos which match
that particular scene - i.e. plants and foliage, whereas the Landscape
mode locks the focus at infinity and also tweaks the colours a little.
