Hi, all. I hope this is still considered on-topic although I'm asking
questions about a digital camcorder, not a still camera.

I have on order a JVC GR-D90US digital camcorder and want to purchase a
larger capacity memory card. It comes with an 8 MB MMC card but I'd like
to get at least a 128 MB card, if not larger. Apparently, this camcorder
can take SD or MMC memory cards. Does anyone have any experience which,
SD or MMC, is better? Also, is it possible to buy a filter to protect the
lens like you can with a still camera, or perhaps another accessory to
protect the lens for this camcorder?

(Can you tell I'm not very experienced with camcorders?)

    TIA,

    Bob
