I nailed the Excel 2002 Expert and Word 2002 Expert exams yesterday,
and will be taking Access and PowerPoint Friday. I scored an 867 on
the Excel exam and a 933 on the Word exam. I studied up using the
using the Measureup practice exams, which were very good preparation,
especially for the Word exam. If you are taking the exams, be sure you
have the Excel What-If Analysis tools nailed. Both exams pounded
macros more than the Measureup exams did (be sure you know how to
customize the menus as well as the toolbars!), but that was no problem
for me as I luckily have a lot of VBA experience. I was nervous once I
started the exams because I thought I'd be able to skip around and
come back to questions, but that is not possible. Once you go on to
the next question you cannot go back. I suffered a brain stall on an
Excel analysis question, and pretty much ended up skipping it. The
terminology was a bit different that Measureup used, so I got stuck
thinking it was a tool I was unfamiliar with. HTH someone!
