    i lost my java. whenever i go to a place that uses java it won't let me
    on. internet explorer 6 and netscape 7 both close down and i have to
    reboot them. i am useing windows xp. when i go into the control panel
    and click on the java icon nothing happens. did i delete something i
    shouldn't have. need help.

    start internet explorer >>tools >> Internet Options>> Settings>>View
    Object>>

    Look for Java ,Remove reference. revisit those java places
    or just visit http://www.java.com/en/index.jsp
