I've been having issues with Panoramio over the past couple of weeks -
which obviously isn't the same as picasaweb, but another photo site
    owned/hosted by Google.
I haven't looked to see if there were any announcements to users, but
the site seemed to be down and slow. Hits on my a/c are also down from
an average of about 2400/day to about 1700/day since about the end of April.
it seems to be up and running fine now.

In some other galleries an occasional pic refuses to load.
In the past they used to load fine, so I'm still hoping it's a temporary
issue. I do have the originals of course, but I'll wait for a while
to see if it resolves itself or perhaps contact customer support first.
I've had similar issues with flickr, but that were just pics from others
I had bookmarked as favorites that would refuse to load occasionally.

They opened fine for me. Where is that, Holland?

Seems google, in general, has been having problems lately. First
their usenet guy goes on vacation, and now this.

Yes, in Holland (Utrecht). It seems to work again for me
as well. Perhaps they replaced a faulty server at google.
