    This is terrible!

I noticed a few times that some folders where I had e-mails have suddenly
disappeared. All the e-mails in those folders. The folders are still here,
but ALL my e-mails are gone.

Importing e-mails from Outlook Express is also buggy. I can't move the
folders around before I click on them and I get a count of the number of
e-mails in a particular folder (imported from Outlook Express).

Is there a setting somewhere maybe that says to automatically delete e-mails
in folders after a number of days?

BTW, if someone can suggest another free e-mail program I could use. I need
one that separates my e-mails from different accounts into different
INBOXES. Outlook Express can't do that with several POP accounts.

    Thanks

Um simple things often get overlooked
Are you using View-->All when accessing those folders?

See Moz Champion's post. Sometimes this setting switches itself.

Thunderbird is free and cam sort your mail into separate inboxs.

    Tools>>Account settings>>(account)>>Server Settings>>Advanced button

Under the POP tab, check the raio button for Inbox for this servers
account. You can choose to have all your accounts in a global inbox,
all in their own inbox, or some global and some on their own.
