Do they slow down 'ordinary' accounts to encourage people to pay extra
for the 'accelerator' service or is it my imagination?

Sometimes it seems like it takes ages to 'find' urls - like trying to
give a urine sample - it's a relief when it finally gets started.

Is it normal to be connected at 53,333bps and to get a max data
rate ( in & out ) of 3.70kbs as reported by Iolo system Mechanic no
matter how many ftp downloads and web page downloads I have running
    simultaneously?
