IPRIP could not join the multicast group 224.0.0.9

Discussion in 'Wireless Networking' started by =?Utf-8?B?U2NvdA==?=, Dec 12, 2004.

  1. I experience a full system crash (blue screen of death) during some web
searches. Checking the system event log, I find a system error (category
    102) indicating error code 100000d1 and several parameters. Also, and most
interestingly, I find an IPRIP error with the description:

IPRIP could not join the multicast group 224.0.0.9 on the local interface
with IP address 10.0.1.2. The data is the error code.

    Data shown in this log entry is: 0000: 41 27 0 0 A'..

Does anyone know the issue here and how to correct it? Thanks -Scot
