Interesting x64 Vista news...

Discussion in 'Windows 64bit' started by Mark Gillespie, Aug 24, 2006.

  1. It seems ONLY x64 edition of Vista will be able to play HD content, as
it's possible to use hacked kernel mode drivers in the 32bit version of
Vista to bypass HDCP. x64 gets around this by enforcing signed drivers.

Interesting. May help adoption of x64 versions of Vista...
