So while I'm in my bed drifting off to sleep, I am entertained by having
    firefox on my brain.
I clicked on a link to show an image and the page never loaded. I wonder
    why?
I tried closing out the tab and no luck.
Each time I opened my eyes I got a new tab with yet another loading that
    would never load.

So I was wondering, with all the modern technology we have available, is
there anyway I can connect my brain through a router to my machine so I can
connect online and surf myself to sleep?

Total control of a computer through eye movement:

Only problem here is once you fell asleep, who knows where REM will take
    you :)

Early signs of depression, check your email and get away from the
computer. It will be there and work just as well as always even if
left alone for a few days.

Yes.. but the allergic reactions are not very pleasant.

By the way - did you ever see the movie, 'Scanners'?
