What means that the EMT64 cpu series support 64 bit software?
They are built on 64 bit architecture or they just support 64 bit
    aplications.
    Thanks

  2. EM64T is an extension of existing 32-bit architecture to support 64-bit. It
extends the memory address space, registers, etc, to support 64-bit
operating systems, while maintaining compatibility with existing 32-bit
operating systems for those not ready to move to 64-bit. EM64T is binary
    compatible with the AMD64 architecture.
