Any program that uses InstallShield won't install (MSN Messenger,
    America's Army, etc).

I'm using 1443, it expires in March 2006, so no, I don't want to get a
shorter trial version. I just want to fix this :(

I don't have any problem at all with installshield here. But as you keep
using a beta version, it may be the problem.

  3. Sorry, beta versions aren't supported. That's why they're beta versions. And
even though your beta version hasn't expired, your license has. (and no, I'm
not going to click on your link to an unknown jpeg.)

David, you are getting that problem with Americas Army because of the
DirectX installation. There is an unofficial fix for this here:

    http://aaotracker.4players.de/downloaddb.php?file=117

There is a read me included on how to use it. Hope this helps

    cheers

  6. That's nice. I'm still not clicking on unknown jpegs. Even though I'm patched
    fully.

David, If I understand the EULA that came with the Betas, you were
supposed to erase it as soon as the final non-beta version was
available. So, if I am correct, you are in violation of the EULA and
should upgrade ... NOW. There is a free trial version available to you
    for download at
    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/64bit/evaluation/trial.mspx
